In an increasingly connected world, Youth and Family Digitality is crucial for unlocking opportunities. Vijana Kesho advances this area through two critical streams: Digital Development and Digitality and Wellbeing. Our goal is to ensure young people move from being passive users of technology to becoming active shapers of the digital future.
Our Approach: Empowering Digital Agency
We work to ensure that digital tools are used to enhance quality of life, open inclusive pathways, and keep young people safe.
1. Digital Development
We actively bridge the digital divide and build practical digital literacy.
We co-design with communities how technology can strengthen essential services in areas like health, mental wellbeing, education, and community trust.
2. Digitality and Wellbeing
We open fair, inclusive pathways to quality of life using digital tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
We support shared-value models like cooperatives and community platforms.
Our programs teach intentional AI use for learning, careers, and creativity.
We foster emotional reflection to help youth recognize when AI helps or harms.
We ensure digital tools used for relationships or mental health keep youth safe.
We equip adults (educators, families, clinicians) with clear conversation frameworks and practical toolkits to guide young people with confidence
